With the ceremony at the Cipriani on Wall Street, followed by their reception at the Cipriani on Broadway, Christina and David’s wedding was the height of urban luxury style. The planner contacted me when they learned the couple had hired a friend (who was a professional florist) to do their design. The planner wanted to ensure their designer had the experience to execute what Christina and David had envisioned, and we were brought on board.
Our team created a 100 feet by 20 feet curved wall filled with fresh flowers for the ceremony and softly lit the garlands of ferns and white roses. Tall candle holders in varying heights made the room glitter, and the juxtaposition between the geometrically designed chairs and the filigree style plates added a romantic touch to the dining decor.
Working in one of the world’s busiest cities means dealing with parking, logistics, and last minute changes, and that means being prepared for every contingency. Thanks to my always-reliable team, we were able to pull off these two seamless events in the heart of NYC.
