Taglyan Cultural Complex Wedding, Los Angeles, CA

Anee & Onick

When I first met with the bride, Anee, I was struck by her sweet, angelic personality. We agreed that creating an ethereal sensibility to her and Onick’s wedding would feel just right.

At the Taglyan Cultural Complex where we work frequently, we designed the space as a white wonderland and filled it with dozens of personal touches. Bringing in a white acrylic dance floor and clear chairs, along with clear glass plates and vases, we kept everything pure white by painting the greenery or having it removed from the floral decor.

To show off the 8-tiered fondant wedding cake decorated with hundreds of flowers, we built a multi-layered arbor over it with cascading white roses, orchids and delphiniums. And to finish the look we draped the walls with sheer white fabric and lit the room with candles and soft white uplights. Anee cried and Onick gasped when they walked into the room, and that’s when we knew we had accomplished what we had set out for.
