Our Party Rental Trend Wishlist for 2022

If your schedule is anything like mine this year, you might be a little wide-eyed at how many weddings and events are on the radar! That said, us creatives are really getting to put our talents to work to pull off some stunning parties for our clients.

Needless to say, some of the most important elements in our corner are rentals. Not only can they completely transform a space, but rentals are instrumental in carrying a theme and elevating the guest experience.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at my party rental wishlist for 2022...

Elevated Seating

The days of traditional folding chairs are long gone. Instead, plush armchairs and couches of varying textures are being brought in to add more comfort and luxury. With outdoor events taking priority, this is the perfect option to level up an afternoon brunch or an evening reception.

Consider springing for some velvet furniture rentals in lieu of classic ceremony seating, complete with end tables for guests to place their drinks from cocktail hour. Elegant floor poufs are also great for casual get-togethers!

Unforgettable, Interactive Bar Displays

We’ve all seen the champagne-wall concept as a welcome area for guests, but the options are endless when it comes to incorporating rentals into bar setups. For example, statement glassware and acrylic elements can turn an ordinary cocktail bar into something chic and high-end.

On the more extravagant side, you can offer some decorated self-pour displays with batched cocktails (or mocktails), or even call in the help of a mobile bar that doubles as décor.

Over-the-Top Floral Vessels

While florals are a key focal point of any event, the structure and execution can make all the difference. A seating chart can be upgraded to a breathtaking flower display with the backdrop of geometric panels. Similarly, renting pedestals to place throughout your event can be wrapped with greenery for Instagram-worthy conversation pieces.

One of my favorite pieces of décor is a hanging floral installation, and one way this can be achieved is with suspended shelves. Lifting the florals away from the tablescape gives the opportunity for guests to mingle more closely throughout dinner, and it adds additional space for table décor and lighting.

However you choose to implement rentals into your next party, make sure you do so with your client’s vision in mind. Being intentional with rental pieces can add a stylish, editorial edge that looks effortless!
