"Chinatown 90210" Chinese New Year Celebration on Rodeo Drive

As we prepare to celebrate the Chinese New Year, I’ve been thinking back to last year when I created the floral decor for the exquisite “Chinatown 90210” event. It was a spectacular celebration right on the cobblestone streets of Rodeo Drive, hosted by the Chiu family along with luxury brands Piaget and Bottega Venetta. I loved creating these tiered red floral displays inspired by China’s sacred temples and the vibrant yellow arrangements that paired so beautifully with the blue and white chinoiserie vases. The party was featured by Vogue and Town and Country among many others, and as always I loved working with such a talented team of creatives. Design and coordination was by Aliana Events, photography was by Dina Douglass of Andrena Photography, and cinematography was by Mikhail Kharlamov What a way to celebrate the New Year!
