It’s the perfect season for outdoor California weddings, and our lovely clients Shani and Ruben just hosted the most beautiful summer wedding ceremony and reception at Hummingbird Nest Ranch.

We loved transforming the ballroom at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Beach into a white and gold wedding wonderland. White roses, orchids and sparkling crystals rained from the sky and overflowed from the tables, which created the perfect counterpoint to the chic, modern design of the space.

Envisioning, designing and bringing beauty to life is always a joy, but especially when its in a location as special as this one. I was recently invited to Europe to bring my unique design aesthetic to a series of editorial photo shoots, one of which took place at the historic, and absolutely spectacular, Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte.

What’s more dramatic than a red, black and gold wedding color palette? Max and Lisa’s wedding reception at the Intercontinental Los Angeles Downtown was filled with floral arrangements of classic red roses and deep wine colored dahlias that created an opulent, modern atmosphere for this wonderful couple’s friends and family to enjoy.

I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Sorrento, Italy to design the florals and decor for an incredible editorial photo shoot at Villa Astor. Our team created a modern fairytale wedding story that took place throughout the Villa and culminated in a candlelit wedding dinner on the terrace with a panoramic view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. What could be more romantic?

I’m always asked for tips on how to make wedding flowers, so I created this video tutorial series that includes instruction on how to make different styles of bridal bouquets, grooms’ and groomsmen’s boutonnieres, and fun floral fashion accessories like ring bearer pillows, flower girl baskets and floral crowns and headpieces.

As a focal point for Christian and Narineh’s wedding reception, Eddie and his team designed a dramatic sweetheart table overflowing with thousands of white and blush hued roses.

Adrienne and Tim wanted a natural, organic feeling at the Hotel Bel-Air wedding, so we designed florals using roses, hydrangeas, orchids, anemones, and additional blush and ivory blooms, and accented everything with greenery like magnolia leaves, dusty miller, and thistle.

For the second day of celebrations at Amanda and Greg’s Beverly Hilton wedding, we designed a summery garden party complete with cheerful pink floral arrangements, fresh peach seating card displays and glass chandeliers sparkling in the sunshine.

There is something so timeless and chic about a white and gold color palette when it comes to celebrating your wedding day. For Suzy and Daniel’s big day, we used white and gold florals and containers with touches of green to help define all the pretty details in the white roses, white hydrangea, white spray roses and dendrobium orchids adorning the banquet hall.

For Monique and Tarek’s romantic wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch we designed lush florals in a creamy pastel color palette to perfectly complimented the venue’s Spanish architecture and bold pink bougainvillea backdrops.
